Success Stories
On the HealthPMO program we implemented a DevSecOps methodology and established a CI/CD pipeline for future development efforts. We replaced the lengthy development and release process by removing the technical and architectural limitations and dependencies of the legacy product as well as addressing testing, training, and communication processes to better support and align with agile and DevOps practices. We eliminated the long costly desktop deployment process that took three (3) months and with release fixes and requested enhancements on demand within days. Our customer was able to leverage DevSecOps capabilities to address and manage integration dependencies with upstream applica- tions and mitigate quality and schedule risk with concurrent product release.
For the CIO and NS3 Directorate we provided transformational program management, network and systems administration, IT service management, service desk services, and cybersecurity. With intimate knowledge of DOC’s infrastructure; IT strategic plans and policies; procedures and processes; and transfor- mation initiative. We exceeded requirements with proven solutions and talented resources resulting in operational improvements for NS3.
On the Mobility Enterprise Information Services (MEIS) program our team refactored a family of 16 existing information services to using a modified SAFe Agile approach using DevSecOps best practices and a full Jenkins-based CI/CD pipeline deployed to Amazon’s AWS. This is done to better support existing API requirements and workflow centric data flows from stove-piped transactional approaches to analytic-based services allowing integrated process monitoring, reporting, and dashboards.
